1. Give your child a colourful and creative nook where he can easily store and retrieve his favourite books and toys. Add patterned wallpaper on the back panel of the bookshelf for a more vibrant look.

2. Use picture ledges—you can get them at Ikea—and create a library wall. Personalise the space by displaying photos of your little one.
