3. New Kid on the Tan Boon Liat block. Interior styling firm Arete Culture has opened its second store at centrally located furniture hub, Tan Boon Liat Building. Similar to its flagship showroom at Lam Soon Building in Bukit Batok, the second, central store will carry a wide range of soft furnishings and home accessories. Exclusive to this outlet is the full-suite customisation service, where shoppers will be able to tailor-make products and select accent pieces to their exact specifications. 4. Get your hands on MMLampadari light fixtures. Local luxury furnishing brand Moss Living has been awarded exclusive rights to distribute Italian designer lighting label MMLampadari, one of Italy’s most celebrated lighting icons. MMLampadari can be found in some of the most well-regarded hospitality spots and landmarks worldwide including Sheraton Hotel (Hong Kong), Hilton Hotel (Beer Sheva, Nicosia), Hotel Intercontinental (Israel), Shangri-La Hotel (Manila) and many more. 5. Architect takes on own home as his most challenging project.
Chris Grimley of architecture firm over, under trusted no one but himself (and his wife Kelly) to renovate their 1,250 square foot residence in Boston. The once-dark and dreary space is now bright and light thanks to all-white surfaces, a more open floor plan, and pops of colour via modern furniture, contemporary art, and fun wall installations.
