1. Upsized content at the International Furniture Fair Singapore 2016. Expect this year's staging of the International Furniture Fair Singapore (IFFS) to be bigger and more diverse. To enhance visitors’ experience, IFFS 2016 will present an all-new The Outdoor Boulevard that clusters exhibitors with garden or outdoor offerings together in a dedicated area. IFFS will also introduce Gamification, an interactive "play area" that highlights the multi-functional nature of modern furniture. Visitors will also benefit from a series of dialogue sessions and business seminars set around the theme of "Smart Living, Convivial, and Design Forward." For more information, visit its website.

2. Singapore-based artist's works available at Chillax Market. Most of British artist Diana Francis' artworks are influenced by her travels and experiences in Asia. Now based in Singapore, her work is supported by the National Heritage Board—her Singapore sidewalk landscapes are great souvenirs and presents for your loved one's home. You can purchase her beautiful works at Chillax Market at The Grandstand.

4. Be inspired by Karl Lagerfeld's floor-to-ceiling library. The man is an icon in fashion but he's also inspiring when it comes to home design. His library featuring his massive collection of publications is arranged in horizontal fashion—he doesn't have to tilt his head to be able to read a specific piece. "Lagerfeld’s rows and rows of books line the walls of his home, requiring a catwalk to access the upper parts of the stacks. The horizontal piling looks dramatic, especially paired with the minimalist decor and modern furniture," writes mymodernmet.com.
