Short of time to clean your house and research on cleaning services company? Here are five mobile apps that will reduce the hassle for you:
This app is suitable for homeowners who need some ad-hoc cleaning service every now and then, rather than to hire a full-time cleaner. In an interview with Yahoo, business development associate Dheepu George claims that “it takes less than 10 seconds to book a cleaning, and most bookings get accepted by the cleaners within five minutes.” This app will keep a history of the user’s preferred location and service. Payment is available through PayPal and credit card.
2. Agent Bong
Hong Kong-based firm Agent Bong just launched in Singapore this year, and provides a range of domestic services such as cleaning and babysitting. Users can either wait for helpers to apply for the service requested, or they can select the preferred helper before confirming the job. All services are paid through credit card. Their rates are available here.
3. Kao Dim
Founded by two former lawyers, this Malaysia-based service marketplace aims to reduce the time people spent to research on cheap, good, and reliable service provider. This app matches users to the verified service providers, with reviews available for the user’s information. Simply send in your cleaning request, wait for an estimated quotation order from the service providers, and choose the best offer.
4. Page Advisor
This Singapore-based start-up is a mobile-commerce marketplace that offers more than 100 home and lifestyle services. Users are given a range of quotations for the services and price range they want, and payment is made through PayPal.
This app finds helps from a community of taskers near the user, and is available on demand 24 hours. The taskers work on a freelance basis and have to go through three levels of verification for credibility.
