1. Durian and barbecue fiesta at Melt Café.

From 13 to 30 July, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore presents all-you-can-eat durian galore, alongside a myriad of fruit-themed cuisine and unlimited selections of barbecued meat and fresh seafood at Melt Café. Taking centre stage at Melt Café’s alfresco garden is an extravagant durian station featuring the king of fruits for a truly unique dining experience. 2. MUJI flagship store to open at Plaza Singapura on 21 July.

As its first flagship store in Southeast Asia, the MUJI store in Plaza Singapura will be the largest outlet in Singapore—spanning over 1,896 square metres! More than just a retail space, the store will reveal new original concepts adapted from MUJI Japan. It will serve as a community ground for people from all walks of life to come together, explore design and arts ideas, and experience various learning anchors. It will be based largely on locality, a store that acts as a window to the world, while keeping to the basic concept of MUJI. At the Plaza Singapura exclusively, customers can learn about unique tradition, culture, and design.
