5 Things You Should Know This Week: 20 March 2019

These are some of the news you should know this week:

1. Collections from Italian brands Miton and Guzzini e Fontana is now at W. Atelier's latest showroom

Luxury home furnishings and accessories retailer W. Atelier continues to expand their list of reputable brands under their wing. Replacing the level three showroom initially occupied by Toto Kitchen and Wardrobe, Miton and Guzzini e Fontana are two Italian brands that will introduce exclusive collections to Singapore’s W. Atelier. These Italian brands, while new to Singapore, have embodied generations of Italian excellence through their furniture for years.

Both brands are also increasingly environmentally conscious, with Guzzini e Fontana opting for eco-leather as an alternative material and Miton cutting down on CO2 emissions. The eponymous label Guzzini e Fontana focuses on home living and the simplicity of design, while maintaining quality furnishings worth investing in. Miton strongly believes in the process of creation, experimentation and research, when it comes to designing kitchen spaces. This brand transforms blasé kitchen areas into a central, yet unique home space with style and design.

Following intentions to create visually-appealing yet functional designs, Guzzini e Fontana has fashioned several furniture and fittings that stem from experiences in production of furniture, design, and technical skills. The collection of home furnishings covers a wide range, from beds to wardrobes, and drawers too.

Well-established modular kitchen brand Miton prides itself on the research and thought-processes put into its designs—that’s their Modus Operandi. The collection that will be introduced to the new showroom at W. Atelier will feature intricately-designed kitchen furniture, fittings and fixtures such as Menta, which is a finishing that can outfit kitchen shelves, refrigerator, and table tops.
