Check out the latest furniture and home decor by renowned designers at Robinsons The Heeren's GSS: ES

The GSS: Experience Singapore (GSS: ES) is back in a refreshed avatar this year, bringing patrons on a retail adventure—not only in the spheres of fashion and food, but also in furniture and design. If you are still on the lookout for new pieces of furniture, here’s a preview of the types of pieces curated by the Singapore Furniture Industries Council and the Singapore Retailers Association, at the Great Furniture Showcase (21 June to 28 July) happening at Robinsons The Heeren:

  • Visitors can expect the latest furniture designs from ModuDesigners, which are versatile for both function and play. The Cheese Table is a unique design comprising of a solid wood worktop allowing children to draw, write or play on, while it has are storage spaces for their materials. The other piece is Turtles, a design that combines two poufs with hemispherical shapes, with each one functioning as a rocking pouf for kids as well as a comfortable stool. Being suitable for both play time and tea time, Turtles is fun and comfortable for both kids and adults.

  • Poon Yew Wai, a designer from Singapore-based company Oonarchi, has an appetite for playfulness and a child-like delight in shapes and images. He will be showcasing Ice Scoop to challenge traditional boundaries of design by presenting the mundane ice cream scoop in an unconventional way.

  • You can also see the Nok Nok Rocking Horse Collection by NextOfKin, which was inspired by the designer’s childhood memories of pretending to be cowboys or superheroes on rocking horses.

  • Learning from her travels, PropUpStore by Fatimah Mohsin seeks to design and sell home decors such as Santorini-inspired coasters and tropical cushion covers. She will bring to GSS: ES an elegant collection of decor, dining ware as well as collectables, and showcase her craft at both the Great Furniture Showcase and The GREAT Singapore Pop-up.
