The Table Guy launches a new design label and inaugural National Day Product

Just in time for National Day, local furniture shop The Table Guy will launch its new design label, The Atas Workshop, on 9 Aug 2019 along with its inaugural National Day Product (NDP): The #1.

Led by local furniture designer Darren Mok, The Atas Workshop will not only add another distinctly Singaporean voice to global industrial design, but it will eventually build a regional design cooperative, where niche craftsmen in all disciplines can come together and create thoughtful products for customers' contemporary taste.

Its inaugural product, The #1, was designed to utilise as much material from a single white oak board as possible, leaving minimal wastage, which follows The Table Guy’s principles of environmental consciousness and prudent design. Available in two sizes, the 700mm (diameter) x 450mm (height) is priced at $700 while the 1,200mm (diameter) x 750mm (height) table is priced at $1,500. You can view the product and order it from 9 Aug 2019 to 6 Oct 2019, at 122 Eunos Avenue 7 Richfield Industrial Centre. Meanwhile, The Atas Workshop will launch its first furniture collection in Q1 2020.
